Tigerswan Annouces Plans to Locate in Cumberland County

(Cedar Creek, NC) – Tigerswan, Inc. announced today their plans to locate in the Cedar Creek area, just outside of Fayetteville. Tigerswan, Inc. plans to lease 50 acres of a rural 1,800 Cumberland County farmland property for a minimum of 10 years. The company is an Apex-based military contractor. Tigerswan, Inc. will bring 54 jobs and a $4 million dollar investment to Cedar Creek and surrounding area.
Tigerswan, Inc. has a contract with the military and will use the 50-acre property to train active-duty personnel in the use of heavy weapons. The company, founded in 2005, is managed by two retired army commanders with extensive special operations training. Their plans include five shooting ranges on the property.
North Carolina’s Southeast, the regional economic development marketing organization for southeastern North Carolina generated the lead for this project. North Carolina's Southeast serves an 11-county area and has been directly involved in the creation of over 8,200 jobs and over $899 million in new investment in the region since the group’s formation in mid-1994.
