North Carolina's Southeast Wins NCSU Economic Development Partnership Award

In April 2014, North Carolina's Southeast received the North Carolina State University Economic Development Partnership Award.  This award recognizes superior work in leveraging university capabilities to enhance North Carolina's economic vitality.   Recipients of the award are demonstrated leaders in helping NC State bring innovation into action. 
 
The North Carolina's Southeast  Regional Economic Development Partnership engaged in an extraordinary series of collaborations with the NC State Economic Development Partnership.  Outreach-oriented leadership characterizes the partnership North Carolina's Southeast has established with the NC State EDP staff.  They have worked with the university in a wide range of mutually-beneficial activities, from identifying faculty experts to hosting delegations of corporate clients on Centennial Campus to participating in site selection consultations and visits in the field.
 
For their proven performance in attracting capital investment and promoting job retention and expansion, and for practicing authentic outreach and engagement in a spirit of mutual benefit and support, NC State is proud to recognize North Carolina Southeast as the recipient of the Economic Development Partnership Award.
